Yolandi matriculated from Oranje Girls’ High School with six distinctions and went on to complete a BA Law and LLB at the University of Pretoria. During her studies, she was awarded membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society and featured on the Dean’s Merit List for top academic achievers. In 2019, she was selected to join the International Scholar Laureate Programme in Hong Kong under the delegation of International Relations and Diplomacy.

She gained three years of legal experience as a paralegal at a Pretoria-based firm, where she worked across high court litigation, property law, administrative law, and municipal law.

Yolandi joined Cox Yeats in 2023 and is serving her articles in the Construction, Engineering, and Insurance team in the Sandton office. She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in June 2025.
